Local Union 898 provided excellent representation to Urquhart immediately following his positive drug screen by negotiating an arrangement allowing him to transfer to a position at another Ford facility that did not involve safety sensitive functions. The matter addressed by Urquhart’s subsequent grievance had been satisfactorily resolved by his transfer to another plant when his grievance was filed. There was nothing further to be accomplished through the grievance procedure.
